Welcome to Not Every Nonprofit!
A blog about best practices and creative solutions for nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Melissa L. Perkins, CFRE
I have more than 17 years experience building fundraising programs that consistently exceed their goals. Two things have remained consistent over my nearly two decades of nonprofit service, a commitment to taking a donor-centered approach and a desire to push boundaries to expand the professional practice of philanthropic leadership.

A little different
I’m inspired by complex challenges that allow me to solve problems. I like the big, difficult, scary ones best. I find fulfillment in leveraging my training in best practices and embracing new technology to find creative solutions. I’m passionate about helping nonprofits succeed; for me, finding joy in the process is what it’s all about.
